Burt's Bees - Beeswax Lipbalm
I'm a sucker for lip balms. I think it's my way to compensate my lack of interest in lipsticks. This one is from Burt's Bees, which means it has beeswax in it. I don't mind this at all to be honest. They don't test on animals, so I'm fine with the product.
I bought this at Sephora for about 11 euros, I think it was on sale or something. It came in a pack of three: a lip balm, a lemon butter cuticle cream and a hand salve. I got it for the cuticle cream to be honest, but I'm still testing it.
I really love this lip balm. It has a really strong peppermint smell because of the peppermint oil. I love it, it makes my lips all tingly and fresh! It's a balm, so there's not much product going onto you finger, but two dips will manage. I actually like that it's not so creamy. It doesn't leave my lips all glossy and sticky, so I love using this before I go to bed. No fluffy bits sticking to my lips! It also heals cracked lips, since I always have those when I have a cold. Which is like, always. Boo me. I also like the packaging, it's a nice vintage looking tin with a bee on it. Cute!
- 100% natural product (however, on the UK website: 95.29%)
- heals cracked lips and is very soothing
- I like peppermint, so I like the smell and the tingly effect
- a tin is not always easy to use - but there's a stick!
Yup, this one is becoming a favorite! When I finish this one (in about 5 years or so, this stuff lasts forever), I think I'll get the stick one. Just because it's easier to use.
